Angelika Gelibären
About the Artist

Angelika Gelibären

Angelika was born in Albstadt-Ebingen but has lived in Stuttgart, Germany since 1978.  She has been creating bears since 1995, with her bears being sold all over the world. Her love of bears began as a single gift of a homemade bear to a doctor, a bear collector, who had cared for her during a long illness. It has since developed into a great life passion!  

Angelika draws inspirations from many sources, and her favorites include the old traditional, the casual biker and happy gardener bears.  Her bears are very colourful and have their own unique style.  They look jolly and have radiant faces.
