My name is Valerie Sewell and Bears Against MS is the part of my company, VM Gifts, that I formed to combine my two special interests - bears, especially Charlie Bears, Boyds bears, and some artist bears, and my work as a volunteer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (I am proud to have been one of the first inductees into the Mid Florida Chapter's Volunteer Hall of Fame). |

When I started Bears Against MS back in 2002, I specialized in secondary market Boyds bears. However, in 2006 I became a Boyds Bear Advisor doing Home Reunions Parties. Even though Boyds discontinued that program and Enesco has now discontinued the Boyds line, Bears Against MS, through its joint program with Beehive Gifts, continues to be able to offer many Boyds bears, either individually or through its Boyds Home Party program. In addition, Bears Against MS has over 1,000 secondary market Boyds bears available, which are all separate from my personal collection of over 10,000 bears.

I am also an authorized "stockist" of the wonderful "bears with personality" from Charlie Bears in England. Bears Against MS carries both the plush and mohair lines. In addition to the current collections, we also have many older, retired bears with over 1,400 Charlie Bears available in total.
We are one of the first U.S. retailers of Clemens Bears from Germany, designed by a number of talented European bear artists.
We also have a selection of bears from other great individual bear artists from around the world.
All BAMS bears are, unless noted, Mint in Box with Certificate of Authenticity or Mint with Tags, as appropriate, and come from a smoke-free environment.
