Why You May Want to Consider Pre-Ordering

Although we can't say exactly when you will receive your bear, when you place a pre-order and it is confirmed by us, you are guaranteed to receive the bear. This can be an imporant consideration, especially with some of the popular limited edition bears which can be snapped up quickly and then only available on the secondary market. We will not confirm a pre-order unless we have enough in our confirmed allocation to do so. If we are already fully reserved, we will add you to our standby "wish list" in case of a cancellation or if we can get more.
While Charlie Bears Best Friends Club members get to preview the collection (on the Charlie's Secret Cupboard Facebook page) a week before the official launch, please know that we are not allowed to provide any details about the bears in the collection, including pricing, until the official launch (700 p.m. EST on February 20th for the 2022 collection). At that time, or as soon as possible thereafter, we will update the Bears Against MS store website with information about each bear/character in the collection.
The earlier you get your name on our pre-order reservation list for a particular bear, the better choice you have of faces. If you are first on our list, you get to choose from all of that particular bear we receive; if you're 2nd on our list you get 2nd choice and so on. All we ask is that, once we tell you it's your turn to choose, you get back with us as soon as possible with your choice. To save time when we have multiple people to contact, we may ask you to provide your 1st and 2nd choices, while we wait for the person ahead of you to choose their bear. If we have a long pre-order list for a particular bear and you do not get back with us with your choice(s) within 24 hours, we may move on to the next person on our list.
There is no deposit required for pre-ordering the plush, bearhouse or minimo bears. Because of the extremely limited quantities of the limited edition Isabelle Collection bears that each stockist is allocated (sometimes only 1 or 2 of a paricular bear), we do ask for a $25 per bear non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit to hold the pre-order reservation for these bears. However, the deposit is waived for Bears Against MS Customer Rewards Member BAMS Bruins (you earn that status once you've made 10 adoptions after becoming a member).
If you wish to make further pre-order payments before the bear arrives so that he/she is paid for or partially paid for by the time he/she arrives, you can certainly do so. However, no other payments are required until we have the bear in stock. At that time you can either adopt the bear or put him/her on layaway (assuming the adoption fee is over $75).
Is a pre-order considered a commitment to adopt the bear? While it is not a legal commitment (other than the forfeiture of the non-refundable/non-transferable deposit, if applicable, if you cancel an Isabelle Collection pre-order), we hope that you would consider it a personal commitment. We may have turned down another pre-order request because of yours. That having been said, we realize that circumstances can change. So if you find that you will not be able to follow through with a pre-order, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can give another collector the opportunity to adopt the bear.
How to place a pre-order: Please send us an email (using the link below) letting us know which bear or bears you'd like to pre-order. While we can accept a pre-order through a Facebook message, for recording purposes, we prefer an email. If we will have the bear available for you, we will send you a confirmation. If not, we will let you know we are fully reserved but we will put you on our wish list and try to order more.
