Carmela
is a 15.5" plush bear
in tones of sage green and brown.
Her limbs are made of a short-pile animal print,
her body and head are a longer-pile plush.
She has a brown hand-embroidered nose,
a lightly shaved muzzle with air-brushing,
white felt under her eyes
and light brown sculpted paw pads
with Charlie Bears' signature "tickly toes".
She is 5-way jointed.
Carmela wears a cord necklace
with an antiqued key accent.

Carmela and her brother Carlo are the fashionistas of the collection.
Walking through Milan, it was easy to spot why
Italy is
one of the fashion centres of the world;
the innate sense and flair for design they have was obvious.
It was important that the bears and their personalities
matched their Italian names and was the perfect excuse
for me to use the new trendy fabrics we had just bought.
